Emma graduated from Southampton Institute (now Southampton Solent University) in 2002 with an Honours degree in Criminology. After graduating she worked for the Criminal Justice Unit in Basingstoke Police Station before joining Talbot Walker LLP in October 2003 as a Legal Secretary. Having found her niche, Emma retrained as a lawyer and on 30 January 2012 she was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. In August 2015 Emma became an Associate at Talbot Walker LLP.
Outside of work Emma enjoys Latin and ballroom dancing and spending time in her garden.
Emma has extensive experience in a wide variety of matters including:
- Court of Protection Deputy matters from the application stage through to post-Order management. Emma has been appointed to act as a Professional Deputy in several matters and is happy to act in this capacity if required. If a person’s relative would prefer to be their Deputy, Emma can support and guide them through the application process.
- Residential property sales, purchases and remortgages.
