Manorial Rights

Manorial rights and interests which include sporting rights and mineral rights, sometimes known as “overriding interests”, will from 12 October 2013 have to be registered at the Land Registry.

Although these rights may not be of much interest today, they may well have considerable value in the future. If you have any such rights you should start to think about whether you wish to register these rights now as it may be a time-consuming task to establish their existence and gather all the paperwork necessary to register them.
