The Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) has confirmed in McWilliam and others v Glasgow City Council that there is no need for solicitors advising individual employees to give advice on whether the settlement terms of a Compromise Agreement are a ”good deal” for it to be a valid Compromise Agreement.
